Support Across the Educational Journey
JenEd® works with families and caregivers navigating a wide range of school-based concerns, decisions, and transitions. This may include support related to IEPs, 504 plans, evaluations, meeting preparation, mediation preparation, school communication, transition planning, and other high-stakes educational moments from early childhood through adulthood. The goal is not just to help families get through a moment. It is to help them better understand the system they are moving through. JenEd helps make the system readable—so families can move forward with clarity, not confusion.

Education systems can become difficult to navigate when the language is unfamiliar, the record is complicated, or everyone involved is working from a different understanding of what a student needs.
JenEd® helps make the system more readable. Through direct strategy and planning with Jennifer Dahlquist Ramirez, M.Ed., families can better understand what they are seeing, identify the questions that matter, and prepare for the decisions ahead.
The goal is not to place families and schools on opposing sides. It is to help families participate with greater clarity while supporting more productive communication across the people surrounding a student’s education.

Families can work with JenEd in two ways, depending on the kind of support and learning they need.
Direct Work With Jen
Begin With a Strategy Session
90 Minutes · $500
The first strategy session creates space to slow the situation down, identify what matters most, and establish a clearer path forward.
Depending on the family’s needs, the session may include:
- Clarifying the current concern or decision
- Reviewing relevant history, records, or communication
- Identifying patterns, gaps, or points of misunderstanding
- Preparing questions for educators or school teams
- Considering possible next steps
- Developing a more organized plan for moving forward
This is a focused strategy and planning session rather than a free introductory consultation.
Continued Support
Ongoing Focused Guidance
$300 Per Hour
After the first strategy session, families may schedule additional consultation with Jen as needed. Ongoing consultation can support families as they:
- Review new records or school communication
- Prepare for an upcoming IEP, 504, or school meeting
- Organize questions and priorities
- Think through educational decisions
- Develop clearer written communication
- Reassess the plan as circumstances change
Consultation is billed at $300 per hour. There are no monthly plans, packaged cases, or long-term commitments.
Jen’s direct consulting work is focused on strategy, planning, preparation, and education. She does not attend IEP or other school meetings on a family’s behalf.
